I agree with surt. Not to accuse you of anything, but because you've redone the face but not the body and clothes, it looks like you've pasted a fire emblem face, edited it, and stuck it on your own body. Quite alot of people who try to emulate the FE portraits get far too close to the original style. The clothes lack the contrast, saturated colour and bold cel-shading of the FE style, and are overAAd. Quite a few of the lines are very scrappy and should be neatened up, even if the clothes or even skin are meant to be 'scrappy'. The problem with trying to make a portrait that would fit into the fire emblem games is that it's going to look like it was done by the original artist, it's going to be boring and you'll get alot of skeptics. I would suggest breaking from the static feeling this has at the moment, try to add your own style to it. Good luck.
The face (particularly the colours) looks like it comes from a completely different artist than the rest of the image, both in skill of execution and style. Makes the image look rather awkward.
