JerryPie (Level 11 Big Foot) @ 3/16/2008 11:35
This is a great new idea!

xeroxz2k7 (Level 1 Rookie) @ 3/13/2008 01:18
It's sweet indeed O_o I didn't really expect something like this from the Preview :P

Slemsvamp (Level 6 Serial Killer) @ 3/12/2008 18:55
woah, now that's sweet!

Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) @ 3/12/2008 00:13
since all these details on the static portions of the image are wonderfull, i wondered why the  animation lacks the smooothness that would turn this into a kick-ass classic

Carnivac (Level 8 Behemoth) @ 3/11/2008 02:53
Yeah I agree wth iLKke.  It's real nice but the dithering on the light itself just bugs me.

iLKke (Level 9 Nidan) @ 3/11/2008 01:38
Welcome aboard!
I like the color mixing on the column and the snow.
The aurora itself is too dithered, given those 70-something colors you have there.

Darth Mandarb (Level 10 Operative) @ 3/10/2008 17:25
very nicely done!  Great interpretation!

tomic (Level 11 Admiral) @ 3/10/2008 16:26
dunno what you all have with the animation, for me the column is the eyecandy here. great piece + welcome to the joint

wishuponapixel (Level 6 Hitman) @ 3/10/2008 16:22

This is really pretty. Nice animation.

skeddles (Level 11 Sphinx) @ 3/10/2008 15:58
Thats crazy cool.

sumi (Level 1 Rookie) @ 3/10/2008 15:30

that's because I deleted the previous animation frame with blue

Sabio (Level 1 Jukyu) @ 3/10/2008 15:21
This is fantastic. I noticed though that in one tiny spot in the shading on the upper-right side of the sphere, there are a few pixels that disappear during the animation and then reappear after it's complete.

Bubu (Level 4 Murderer) @ 3/10/2008 14:43
Finally you did it (and registered haha)

Nice work Sumsum ;)

sumi (Level 1 Rookie) @ 3/10/2008 13:23

yeah, I know, but I read somewhere that the northern lights move and change fastly. I dunno if that's true or not, but a fast animation covers my pixeling mistakes XD

dragonxxjef (Level 1 Gangster) @ 3/10/2008 12:59
its great work but the animation goes too fast

Broli (Level 3 Private Eye) @ 3/10/2008 08:06
I know my cat likes it, she was pawing at it when I was watching it. Anyways, I like it. Nice choice of colors, good dithering, and the color transition in the animation flows pretty well. Nice work.
