I don't mind the gore being added ... however, the lack of a background (and just the big black space) detracts from what could have been a much better image.  It feels like maybe you got tired of working on it?

not only that the remains of the original look 100% (badly) traced, no, you addionally totally screwed it..

i mean if you're already tracing than this could have been a good exercising object to improve your skills, especially in terms of giving pixel structures to the original background, trying your hands on a night sky etc, but you just chopped off everything and made a dull violent scene out of it, in pixelart it's also is about patience.
