The lines weren't very different, but the overall shading/compostition was. And I'm not sure what you were trying to say there, it might have been understandable if you would take the time to write out your message in proper grammar :)

See you made the mistake of saying imspired my some one's art I noticed when you say that people seem to think your copying from them even if you you never meant it like that but I still do not see it to me there very different and whats wrong with being imspired by some ones art it make you work harder on your own.I know it hard to make sprites and I hope you don't let it get you down.

And gethering points? There is a place called the Queue where you can vote yes or no to approve a peice into the gallery. If the score is too low it (probably) won't be accepted. There is no way you can view a score.

Btw, What does it mean if your pixel art doesn't get accepted just because it wasn't able to gather enough score?

@BlackDragon, I can see your point that the curving edge is like the reference. This does not make it a rip necessarily. It is possible to have pixelled it by just looking at the curve and making your own. It's not the most complicated thing.
I think in this case because Bloo is very adamant about his truth perhaps its your turn to give the benefit of the doubt. In future pixelart you can keep an eye out and perhaps in no time Bloo will feel more confident and you'll start seeing more original linearts from him.

@Bloo, I think its better if you make a WIP for evrything you will submit to get these questions asked then answered but more importantly to help in general with getting you up to speed. Your pixelart have been lacking any contrast in colors but this here the two reds are well contrasted so that alone makes this a vast improvement for you. Of course the hadows on the pages here is all wrong according to the lighting on the red cover.
The black lines on the pages just doesn't read right.
It is possible that this also needs something else to make it special, like a picture on the cover or a ribbon coming out of the pages. These are the type of details that make Paxjah's book really cute.

If you claim to "have followed Paxjah's book style carefully" how can you possibly claim to have the EXACT lines, apart from the smaller sides.

That is not a valid excuse because: You resized it! You just cut down the edges smaller. You still have the same size and shape binding, and the jaggy that is over on the right side.

No, I didn't edit that piece, but if you read my description, I used Paxjah's oranjtri book as a reference.

The lines are great but the shading makes no sense.

I would also take away those horizontal lines that are supposed to be pages.
