I like the small proportions, the face, and the lance fitted to his forearm.  But I wonder how does he see through what appears to be a solid/opaque visor...?

I suggest playing with the hues and saturation on this, maybe some blue in the armor, for example.

Also, at further inspection, it seems the lighting is inconsistent, with the highlights changing sides.

Overall, a neat little character.

I`d go for a transparent mast around your character and remove the current background.
Not sure a character like this works with dithering. For some reason, it's one of those rare cases that block colour banding seems to work best.
Overally though, I like it.

I like the character, although the background does need work.

The dithering on the background could be a little more dynamic but very good use of the limited colors!
