Wouldn't worry about it too much, man. When you say "Most complex sprite I did to date" it implies that you consider this to be one of your best works to date... an' coming from you, it's not even close :)

By no means does that mean it's bad, it just doesnt live up to its own hype.

Anything is art. Don't go deleting stuff, I was just saying i'd much rather see the final piece than a black shape. If everyone posted WIP stages in their gallery, there would be madness. Now hurry up and do this already!

because I think that this silhouette is art on it's own (every interesting silhouette is, IMO). If more people feel that way I'll shut up and delete this one from my gallery.

What was the point in posting this? Why not wait until its finished, if you felt the burning need to show of a silhouette, why not use a forum.

who said that this is the final sprite? There's actualy lots of shading and animation going on already, but since the animation will take some more time, I'm only showing this blackened sprite for now.

Would make a good intro if that thing would come out of the shadows :O
