A style I've tried out for a change. Two shades, no lines except a black outline for the character and a background with oversimplified shades. I'm not good at backgrounds, so it's far from perfect. >3>
I once used this design for an original character, but she never really got put into a game, artwork, etc. So she'll be my avatar.
EDIT: She has 265 colours. MsPaint all the way.

26, to be exact :3 not bad. in fact, i really digg the simplicity of the shading, and the well executed anatomy of the character. not to mention the background is simple, yet effective. kudos for that.
