i would say that using the spray can tool, and these gradients would give your the benefit of experience. if you have some serious intentions with this piece, i would strongly recommend you to read some tutorials first, study them carefully and then experiment in a new pixel art piece.

if you still have problems or think that's better to have some feedback from other people, you can always post your work in the WIP section of the forums.

The cart seems like a hand done gradient, which really doesn't look nice. Also, it looks like the dwarf's beard melts into the side of the cart, try distiniguishing between the two. Also, you have a stray pixel near the tree.

Overall, nice to look at, but could do with some polishing.
