There was definitely some inspiration from Adarias, though I can't say that they're up there with his.

And yeah, I tried making them realistic in the beginning, but that sort of got thrown out the window when I tried to work on my detailing and I got caught up in a flight of fantasy.

Strange palette, but... finally some good-looking swords!

By "good-looking" I mean "realistic". Especially upper-left ones (# 1, 2 and 4), but others are ok too, though the last one (with a skull) is totally a fantasy crud (no offence).
