The layout has it's own background, I just added the background so that you could see the stars and details. I agree that The monsters body could be better...
Nice work on the moon and facial expression. But from the wings and below looks somewhat imcomplete-especially the dithering. The gradient fill background also untickles my fancy-but i still think its a cool character.
