When I saw the challenge I thought of a mystical creature and her possi. (Think shrek, with puss, and donkey) I picture the girl being really naive with magical abbilities to hide her horn and pretend to be human, also being able to talk to animals. The bird being a pain in the ass (like zazu in the lion king) I picture the snow leopard to be smug 14 colors, 2 days 6ish hours, RUSHED AS FORK! Made the deadline though. edit Ditched the white highlights on her face, neck and belly and fixed them back to the pale yellow. Thanks for pointing out the gif destruction. I also added my crappy WIP. Dunno if because I sketched in photo shop first if that 'taints' the pixelness of this image. iLKke - Most of my 'traced' pieces were originally photos, and I did give models names on all of the pieces that used a reference or traced face....... Am I missing something like required links? I have no way of finding out (That im aware of) who took the original photos. Some weren't traced, but several different photos were referenced for different light sources, or angles to produce an image....... If you have a suggestion, please let me know. Im not the type to 'forget' to provide my references Thats bad karma.

AdamPlays - That 'blur' was suposed to be a sun/moon sorta thing in sumi-ee style... I dun think its that good either... If you know of where I can get a sumi-ee reference for suns/moons please lemme know

Jaeden, if you traced faces for your other pictures, you should have posted references. It is considered common courtesy.

It gets better the more I stare at it. Really pretty. Only crit is the little blur over the leftmost mountain. Looks out of place and messy.

I don't really dig the low contrast thing, but that's more of a stylistic choice. For the foot, we should see much more of the side and very little of the top. It would be much more naturally if the sole of the foot were facing inward as her far foot does. Her torso also appears very short. That being said, The girl's head and hair, as well as the parrot, are all pretty cool, and the overall style is nice.
also: "heroes", just to be a grammar nazi.

iLKke - Posted the Wip, Im prolly gonna continue to use this AA method for anything with a background because of the sheer smoothness. Hopefully the 'joint' doesnt frown apon it, I dont see why they would because its the same as tracing faces like half my other pieces, cept this one was drawn entirely by me. either way, its pretty

I like the idea a ton, and the pixel a lot too!

I like the color choices ... there is a white "smudge" above her ... well ... below her belly-button that looks a little out of place!

Overall I like the style of this piece more than the rest of your work. The colors are nice, esp the blue pubic hair :D

However, I find the AA on the girl's outline and the whole of leopard to be quite fudgy.
I understand you rushed it, but I have no idea how you went about drawing this piece.
I'd love to see the WIP, please.

Her rear left foot is not aligned with her leg, and the way her thumb grasps the snow leapords back makes it appear to be paper thin. Her head seems a little large.. But the AAing is wonderful, and the soft pillowy coloring is perfect for this piece. Great work here!

The tiger/fox/cat* is really well done. Love the hair too, but shouldn't there be a nudity warning? I mean, eveyone alwasys complains about those things. ;S

Great work, it's got a real nice look to it, like a watercolour piece or something. Very impressive.
