Yeah, there's a lot of stuff I would do differently now, I just don't feel like fixing him anymore. The pants look wrong and the belly was horrible, though I fixed that quickly. You can still see the old, bad belly on the portfolio site.
There's actually not much difference between the sword guy and this one, about a month or so, because they were part of the same exercise. I tried animating the monk, but I never got far, mainly because I had no clue how fighting moves look. You can see that here, as the stance is probably ridiculous and not really handy in a combat situation.
I was just trying to say this one is very good in comparison to your even older work. If you do remake this one, make the staff thicker, I don't think its heavy enough to wack someone with it.
I like his right leg. Do a remake, that'd be interesting to see.

I was banned for being too harsh on new members. I acted out of love for the community, but apparently the mods didn't see it that way. I don't have hard feelings about it, and my ban ends soon, so you might see me entering the ring again this summer. Meanwhile I've been checking the Joint every day, and I must say I like it here too...
This is a very old piece and I'm well aware of its many problems, I just felt like throwing it out there. Mainly because it's very dear to me, being one of my first pieces ever.
