This is definitely a cheap generic soda. The varnish used on the cans probably tastes more like cherries than the actual soda inside. But hey; what do you expect for $1.50 a 12-pack?

I went in and tried to give it some shading, but I don't find the shape condusive, it ends up looking shoddy.
Since I was already messing with it though, I did try to tone down the antialias, mostly on the text. Not much different though.

Perhaps adding some shading to the banner will fill things up.

The AA on this is amazing.  So clean, awesome job man

Bloo: Thanks :) I know, I know. I really need to watch myself when I get in the AA-mood! Definitely something I need to work on; better AA and less of it!

Spartan: The banner does seem a little empty, the design I originally planned called for having 'diet' in the corner of the banner, but once I reached that point it just looked too odd, so I moved it down to above 'Fix'.  Sh, don't tell, filling space is another weak point. Thanks for your comment :)

Adam: It does seem quite warm. I'm very glad I switched from black *shot* to the dark red for the background.

Theguy: to be fair, gradients are sometimes featured in soda can and other beverage label designs, so for the challenge it would not be completely unheard of, but I don't think it would fit with this entry. Thank  you for the comment :)

Gradients are NEVER good, not even if you make the gradient itself, he should keep it the way it is. Nice and simple.

The blurryness gives it a nice worn/oldish look. It fits the theme as do the shapes. A nice entry.

the cherries look good to me but that banner (if it is a banner) seems too empty. Maybe try a gradient back ground or something. ( don't use the gradient tool, pixel it)

I think the overboard AA makes it look all blurry... but I still like it nonetheless! You got my vote!

Yeah, I  may have gone a little overboard.
Consider this; I already toned the AA down halfway through the image.
It was srsly AA'd.

Is a weakness.

Looks a little overAAed but it looks great overall :D
