The thing from the hat on the (our) left of the mouth is too straight I think. Other than that, really great work!

Stickman, it is actually not as bad as might looks talking of creases and patterns, i think i could manage it and really hope on completion myself. I'll fix that line, thanks.

Great work again, and it will be interesting to see this animated (those creases and patterns are going to piss you off!). I was wondering about the the heavy black line on his mouth and chin, and also on the collar below his chin as it seems to stand out quite a bit from the rest.

It's beautiful and creepy design, and I really hope this game gets completed. Make sure to tell us whether it's PC or console:)

Fair 'nuff.

Still can't put a finger on it, I've tried various edits and shown them to random people asking which looks better, and they've unanimously chosen the original thus far, which strongly suggests I'm off my nut ;)

Something of it feels washed out and un-depthy though. It doesn't help anything that I'm looking at it against a very light background. I'll do some more 'sploring.

P.S. any animations for it yet? :O

I think I figured it out. You use black as your deepest shade sporadically throughout the face and on the edges of the jester hat, but you don't use it throughout, which is/was causing the contrast issues I mentioned. Chances are I'm still off my nut, but hey, at least I try.

Saboteur, i'm  thinking of taking colors of skin even more off flash tones  to get a feel of painted clay. And, unfortunately, can't see anything wrong with contrast. =)
jamon, colors were  tweeked pretty much on final stage.
pain, every other char in a game has 4 fingers, besides, he's going to die anyway.=)

it looks that you have predefined colors for your pixels (example skin colors) ... but you are chose them well!

I knew this was yours when I saw the preview in the weekly featured! ^_^ It looks really nice - excellent job!

Definitely a fool piece in its shining glory, but as met and ilkke mentioned, not your strongest work.

To try and put a finger on it, it feels like the clothes could use some more contrast, and a couple redder tones in the skin wouldn't hurt noone.

Quite weak??   Quite a weak criticism.  Absolutely no justification - just a simple, "meh!"  Explain yourself!  This is an amazing piece!

spartan  117, no, no wip's this time. Normally wip is available eighter if I purpously making one or  have no clue where am i going  -  do a lot of tryies and do backups frequently. In some cases there are just a couple of hours to go from start to finish.=)

LazyKat, thanks for pointing it out, but i think i'll leave it as is. And no, i don't shoot people - it is not as  fun as it sounds - all that paperwork i have to fill up after...no, not  fun at all.=)

Speaking as a member of the Department of Redundancy Department; This is wonderful! I love the sharp folds on the orange arm, and the folds on the pointy segments of the headgear. I mean, it's all stunning, but those are the parts I really like.

Please don't shoot me. There seems to be a teensy bit of a jaggy on his orange-slippered foot? On the highlighted side, the steps are quite visible once you've seen them. But the rest of the work is so beautifully blended in all the right places, that's only the merest pick of a nit.
