I love the Metroid games and I love Metroids themselves and this is an excellent piece. The animation fits really well and it looks perfect. Great job

Inspiration being something thats not what it is? Unlikely. It is inspired by a metroid's stationary pose for sure.

Also I don't see any stray pixels, unless you mean the second set of fangs, which are supossed to be there...

My thoughts on peoples thoughts... sorry.. Metroid Fan.
