really nice work!

oomleo (Level 1 Rookie) at 5/1/2008 9:58:51 AM
yeah! hahah "wrong-flags"! mmm.. so, thats not the flags.. but, iron sheeting.. hehe..
thanks again for all comments!
hope my next artwork could be better than this one..

FlyGuy (Level 7 Underboss) at 4/30/2008 7:46:58 PM
Wonder why my comment was deleted? Anyway it basically said that I noticed the flags arn't blowing in the same direction as each other. That just seems kind of weird to me.

Metaru (Level 8 Brigadier General) at 4/29/2008 11:46:50 PM
this is huge. although that's all it is. :/

sharprm (Level 1 Rookie) at 4/29/2008 8:32:32 PM
Don't forget hot chicks. If the CBN stall in the middle was supposed to be the focus (ie. the person seeing the ad sees CBN stands out) then maybe you should have had the left building moved down and to the left - so that the lines from the buildings converge on the CBN stand (as they do for right building). Also, if you had space around the CBN stand, it would stand out too. Like if everything is cluttered, your eye would be drawn to empty part. Anyway, well done getting paid for pixel art!

oomleo (Level 1 Rookie) at 4/29/2008 3:31:27 PM
oke.. i see..
thanks for all..!

..just enjoy the hottest stuffs..
theres RHCP, theres hand-dryer, hair-dryer, sauna, hot-coffe, tv hot-news, hotdog, barbeque, fire-eater, hot-rod, hot-pants, hot-line, and, aah.. hotspot for the internet..

cannot do it without iso..
pardon me if theres a lot of un-pixelart stuffs..
again, ..thank you all!!

oomleo (Level 1 Rookie) at 4/29/2008 3:06:59 PM
oohh.. i forgot about the rules.. 3075? it should be 256 colors, right?
so, 3075 is too much? not qualified for pixelart?
aah.. thats why i used *.png..
(for print-ad..)

I have to agree with Gil, too. Generally I find generic eboy-esque iso pieces like this overly loud and low on technique.. banding, ridiculously high colour count, almost a complete lack of AA, inconsistent light sources...

Not that this is intended as a shot at this piece alone, just the style in general. Iso can be beautiful, and smaller, more polished stuff is likely to win me over every time.

Stratto (Level 2 Hired Gun) at 4/29/2008 1:12:55 PM
is that flea from RHCP under the WIFI sign?

tomic (Level 10 Lieutenant General) at 4/29/2008 12:02:52 PM

i'm a bit surprised that none of the past comments contained '3075'!

3075. thats the color count, threethousandseventyfive! far too much if you ask me.

Mad Bear (Level 1 Depressed) at 4/29/2008 7:38:40 AM
i personally like iso.. but i have to agree with gil on most of the stuff.. he did make some valid points there.. and you should look into your human characters most of them look like really stiff mannequins.. somehow it's cluttered but not cluttered enough.. haha.. just my two cents worth..

sharprm (Level 1 Rookie) at 4/29/2008 2:03:36 AM
Looks good. :) Maybe you should have the outline for the balloon black, not dark grey. Its an advertisement isn't it? Shouldn't you try to draw attention to the ad using high contrast? So, also make the flame really bright (oh, and the part where the flame comes out seems out of perspective).

Vertigo-Zero (Level 8 Brigadier General) at 4/29/2008 1:21:47 AM
Yeah reminded me of eboy as well (because of the bright colors) but they always have less detail... They never use patterns etc. Anyway I still think its pretty cool, especially the hawt rod :)

Gil (Level 3 Sergeant) at 4/28/2008 6:13:46 PM
I do a lot of iso work. I don't do any eboy style work though.

The point is, looking at this piece, I feel you have a lot of stuff to learn before you get into something this size. This piece lacks composition. You can't expect something this random to look good. If you want to clutter it, try to make a composition that makes sense and draws attention to the right parts. Right now everything is just fighting for attention, there's no unified palette to pull it together either. Consider the fountain and the arc, both could never be in the same place under the same lighting condition, it looks like a totally different style.

oomleo (Level 1 Rookie) at 4/28/2008 12:08:09 PM
thank's a lot, pals!
- hehe.. waldo is not included.. (hope my client will asks for waldo.. but, they dont..)

..needs more time to do some more details.. but this time, me do focus directly for composing & fill the empty area.. so here it is! sorry for the lacks-of-detail.. my argue: never try to catch the details! just enjoy your eyes for their activities and the "hot" things..

(have you ever tried to compose all of your pixel characters and stuffs to a scene? ..isometric will! ..trust me! hehe)

for "GIL": have you ever creating an isometric style before? bored, isnt it? ..but not for me.. ISOMETRIC IS GOOD!!! hehehe..

schrumpfkopf (Level 1 Depressed) at 4/27/2008 2:48:23 AM
Gil made the point: this is low-quality in every sense -

Amazing work here. High scores coming your way!

Gil (Level 3 Sergeant) at 4/24/2008 4:31:01 PM
Lots and lots of contrast issues here. I'm not really a fan of cluttered generic iso either. It's been done before, a million times even...

chanfan (Level 1 Thug) at 4/24/2008 4:25:39 PM
I love it! Instant fav!

happy bacchus (Level 1 Thug) at 4/24/2008 4:01:25 PM

Now that's a ridiculous amount of detail!  Great job!

In 10 hours, after I've taken in 1/2 of this image, I'll comment further ;)

D-Puff (Level 2 Kukyu) at 4/24/2008 2:47:02 PM
