Oh, pardon me then. Heh, and I was trying to find Drones there.
They look as good as your avatar nevertheless.
It's not Flip Hero in this. I didn't want to mess with Daniel Remar's characters and he and I agreed this is fine set far in the future of his game with some ties to his story.
And bloody hell these shots are from nearly 3 years ago? eep...
Frankly, I thought Flip Hero is built of some not very colorful metal. Cool nevertheless: it is staggering to find out how people see the monochrome world of his. =)
Thanks, but I've never done something so small, I want to do something like this, and I thought to start this is a good guide :)
learn from what? You're way better than me. Hm these screens are old. They don't even have the gray rocks in the tiles and all the sprites have been revised to various degrees since.
What I can say? I have to learn from this. Perfect work
Man these look pretty sweet. If this is out of date then I can't wait to see the most current media on the project.
Oh BTW about that graphic thing, when I first saw this (first time was actually quite awhile ago) it actually reminded me of Sega GENESIS graphics.
Man, these screens are getting old now. I've redone from scratch or edited the majority of the sprites and tiles since I did these. Title menu too is totally different.
Beautiful. I love Hero, and this looks like a more-than-worthy tribute.
Shouldn't be too long for a demo. These are pretty old screenshots now.
Cool! I have a hope to play this game in the future :)
Still working on it. Just released some updated screenshots from level 1 and the title screen on my blog and DevinartArt account.
Update? Where can we get our greedy hands on a demo? Very Metroid-ish without being a rip-off. Nice job.
This is too cool.
By the way, I saw that Carnivac icon of yours on dA and I thought, this guy must be familiar, now where have I seen that avatar before? So now I know.
Awesome stuff. I wanna learn the actual NES language so I can develop my own ROM someday.
wat websites or software do u use to make games, if u no any?
There are some enemy types that are based on the shapes of some of his. Reavers in particular (which I thought were in these shots but these are much older than I thought, they don't even have the gray rocks and the enemy shown here has been revised considerably since)
