i know what pixel art is, and since this is also my closing statement id like to point out that just because i posted something that wasnt purely pixel art, doesnt mean i dont know what PA is, anyways i didn't choose to post it in "my pixel art gallery" it just went there like everthing else someone posts

I think this is not the place to solve such a question, so this will be my last public comment to you about this.
You can find almost every answer to your questions in my previous post, especially because I am NOT angry with you, but yust with way to be somewhat childish. I don't really want to repeat myself, so please read this.
But why if your piece wasn't meant to be pixel art you actually post it in your pixel art gallery?
Mine is a pixel art piece. Maybe a bad, ora a really bad piece, or the worst pixel ever, but I made it by myself, pixel by pixel.
I still suggest you to find a definition of pixel art, may google help you!

I think the attitude I perceived may have been mostly due to your intent being "lost  in translation".
He did offer critique, though tactlessly, so I do see your point.  It is always preferable to mention how to improve a piece rather than leave a purely negative comment.

Well that was not a critic, in my not so humble opinion, and I wasn't assuming  he read the comment, just wanted to make him realize how an acceptable critic is done.
Yours is real critic, his comment looks more an insult than a critic to me, an with "to me" I mean every polite person I know.

I hope you realized the "attack" was made after, a later edit just to point out how he can be a critic, if his definition of pixel art is "isometric crap with 5 colors": it has really nothing to do with his pixeling technique (notice the link is to a comment, not to his work), yust with the feeling I had about that person.
I want to stress the fact I am not upset because of his comment, just don't like this behaviour.
Seems absurd to me someone defending a comment like that.
Mine was acid, but still ironical.

I knew it was pillowshaded since vertigo said so; and I think I solved the problem with the robot quite well.
Said that, I assume it is not a good piece, I'll se if I have the time to fix that.

It doesn't matter how well the critic can pixel, It has nothing to do with the quality of their comment.  Try to be less of a sensitve prick and actually take critique.  There's no reason to attack another member just because they point out a fault in your work.
There's also no reason to assume he read every comment on every other piece of artwork in your gallery.

As for the piece itself, use less colors with more contrast, preferably with at least some slight hue shifting.  You'll also want to more clearly define your light source.
