This is an early mock-up of some sprites for my new monstergame based on an old game i started about a year back.
The project name, Vertical Drop, I just came up with to have a title here. :P
This is a project i wish to get finished... xD

Actually the name is based on the story, and just temporary, since the character is supposed to fall through a roof from a helicopter at the start. ;p

It looks more like Horizontal Drop. And Space Quest 1 w/ more colors. That robot just needs some big lips. And some schlocky humor. hehehe

I like the idea of running around killing stuff and then calming down and taking on the puzzels and so on... But if you speed-run you'll have to be quick about changing your mode. :P

And oh, the legs DO need correction... hehe. :P

Those rounds are the two different "modes" you will switch between during gameplay, Armed and Exploring.
When armed, you won't move as fast and you won't be able to interact with other things like picking up items or pulling levers and when you're exploring you can't defend yourself. :P

Actualy this mockup looks promising! Most things here look awesome and oldskool in best sense.

Maybe main character's legs need some correction but I can't tell for sure when they are not animated.

BTW, what are red and green rounds near stats?
