@ funcravers: I don't really have a personal style yet, at least not that I know of. I'm still trying to get into pixelart.

The "green thing" looks like it could be less bright but it's okay overall I can see you've tried to create some roughness in the picture frame which is a good little detail. Also the shading on the "green thing" and the purple land it's on don't match ones coming from above whilst the other is from the left.

Although it's an interesting piece, I really actually love the background more then anything it compliments the frame pretty well imho.

eh. its not that good. It seems like you are using a different technique then usual.
