Better, but you could add orange spots in the smoke. Also the second frame of flame should erupt UP instead of to the side. See FrankieSmileShow's explosions for examples.
when it starts to glow white ... feels like it hangs there too long. Could just be me. Over-all, for a first explosion, it's a decent effort! Good job!
