i think he went for a very flat style. also, since this tile is next to the one i made, he used the same highlight for the water hehe...

i wasn't trying to make AA with the blue, it was supposed to be water , but i guess it didn't come out right.

Love that palette. The turquoise doesn't make a highly effective AA shade, though.
