Ever since I first saw a picture of it in my history textbook I was like yo, I gotta make this place. I made the 16 by 16 tileset, and then made the map in rpgmaker 2003. It was also good nature practice for me. It gave me the idea to make tilesets of the original 7 wonders of the world, I've made 2 so far. There may have been some colour loss because rpgmaker only supports 256 color graphics.

yeah in general, try to lay down a blanket shade for planes and then work from there. in yours here, the difference in value and hue between grass and ground is MUCH bigger than wall and ground - these differences should always be at most equal even when our mind tells us otherwise.
