Heh, I went to a couple antique stores with my dad and they had Santa selling cigarettes on the back of one of the magazines.

Yeah, I think I found some of those stuck in my walls when my dad was converting our attic into my bedroom.  Such weird adverts back then...

Antique stores sometims have some cool old Sears catalogues and other old mags.  The old time ads are such a hoot to flip through.

Great dithering method, it goes with the style of those drawings from the olden-days when shading was usually done with hatching/cross hatching, a time period this drawing resembles. I think his teeth are cool, :D

OMFG! Big nose!!! But it's a nice pic, sedge

Faktablad (Level 6 SWAT) @ 6/6/2005 13:23
It's a cool shading excercise, but the nose seems to be pasted onto his face and the teeth are weird, but like I said it's more of an excercise.

It's been a lot of fun working with limited palettes lately... I usually doodle with two colors anyway so it's pretty easy to keep it small.

That is crazy, how do you work with such a low pallete?
