I meant that I'm not good at isometrics, so I made a non-isometric piece. And yeah. I was just experimenting with some techniques and wanted some critique so I'd know what I was bad at and what I needed to work on.
Ok, i am glad to hear i didnt make you feel bad. i started doing stuff in mspaint when i was like 12, so i have a bit of experience, but the only problem, is that i didnt know the pixeling tecniques at the time. so i need to get used to them. i would like too see a good one from you, try and make a better more... detailed picture! :P
Hey drowned-flame. Just so you know, this isn't isometric pixelart. I'm not gunna accept it to the gallery, but if you wish to improve it you can post in the forums (WIP section) and ask for help. Cheers, welcome to PJ.
No it's perfectly fine(especially since I'm only 11). I'm not a complete n00b at pixel art, I just hadn't done a good piece in months. This was just a product of pure boredom.
I fail to see the reason you posted this... but its your first peice. and it looks like you are trying to dither, you did ok at it, but you still need to learn, but then again, I need a bit of work myself. that is one wierd looking hill though.
I did something with hills once. look at what mine looks like. Mine see how it was dithered? does it look like it has grass? and please dont take anything i said badly, im just trying to help. i suggest try something less bland, it tends too look better, and usually helps you get better at it.
