I wouldn't have left the black outline, but I suppose that's a matter of opinion.

The glowy stuff looks to plain. Though I have never played Halo 3, I think the blue stuff needs to 'bulge' out of the hammer?

As for the hammer itself, it needs lots of shading and the brown handle needs more contrast.
