it's obvious what "scratch mix" means, but like Gil said there' no point saying "scratch" because it's par for the course (outside of ripboards).
this isn't bad but there's some confusing perspective going on. Also i must admit i see mostly typhlosion, but that's probably because i only ever played silver and blue.
This looks amazing! BTW i completely forgot that you were Medical Meccanica. Scratch mixes are mixing two pokémon but doing so without using rips or traces.
I have played a LOT of pokémon, and I was part of a pokemon spriting community at one time, but I have no clue what a "scratch mix" is. I also know no pokemon that is called "Dusknoir", because I never played much of the later generation ones.
When I read your description, all I could think was "WTF is a scratch mix? Pokemon board lingo?"
It doesn't matter really, just pointing that out :)
The piece looks fine btw, good colors. Maybe a bit more care into volumes and how to shade them.
The people who know what a Dusknoir is most likely have gotten into Pokemon spriting at one point and know what a scratch mix is. The people who don't know what Dusknoir is most likely don't know what a scratch mix is and will probably ignore it or ask me, which is much less annoying then being told that this is a mix (which it obviously is)
TBH if I didn't say it was a 'scratch mix' then people would be going 'ROFL THAT'S A MIX OF TYPHLOSION AND DUSKNOIR ROFL' and I honestly don't have to deal with that.
Don't use terms like "scratch mix" here, people have no idea what you're talking about. This is not a pokemon board. All sprites on this site are supposed to be from scratch only anyway...
