I really like that you use variable line widths, it makes the lines so much more expressive.
As always, I prefer 'glorious' rather than 'contemplative' idea behind artworks. Your artwork is nearly perfect in it's portrayal of contemplation.
(the final touch would be super-wide-open eyes with a fierce stare, as long as you understand contemplation as something active rather than lazy)

This quality of picture is rare here. There are several extremely good *pixel*  artists, and very few good pixel *artists* (myself and shoba are the only ones i would count, maybe wolverine when he is not shininess-crazed.)
