perfect stance. everything looks awesome, except for one thing. the shading on the arms and legs are really long and heavy shades...but I really don't see any shading on the head/ears and only some shading on the torso. other than that, I love it. you'd think a guy was prissy if he wore a starry scarf, but he pulls it off.

Were I doing a sprite, I'd agree with the AAing of the outlines, but seeing as it was just fun, and AAing is something I like to do, I see no problem with AAing the outlines as well.

Although I do admit I did go a little crazy on some parts. Oh well.

I would avoid AAing the outside outlines, and instead AA the lines on the actual character.  You definitely overdid it on the left arm, the line on a 45 degree angle, it just blurs the image yknow?

But aside from that, this looks great!  I love the tail :D

Don't put yourself down so badly.  I like this little guy.  He's really cute, and I just love your excellent use of color.  Really nice job.  He shows a lot of life.

I have only 2 crits..both related.

I think his eye needs to be moved to the right/back some. Right now it is way too close to his nose.
The top part of the eye should probably be done with the red palette not the green.
