Really liking the linework, and the color choices are good for the most part. The only problem I have is with the lighting. You could use a bit more contrast on the brown and orange, and it seems like you were a bit messy when drawing the highlights. Those could be cleaned up a bit here and there. I'd also suggest trying some selective outlining on a few parts.
Overall, it's a promising piece that could be excellent with just a few small touch-ups.
There are a lot of fakemon that are based on other things (see my gallery) but if this is a complete copy, then it shouldn't be called a fakemon. I do like it though.
