Heh, it looks like you've used colors efficiently anyhow! :) It looks great, keep up the good work. The only thing I noticed Ricki mentioned (the line on the nose being misplaced/too dark/unnecessary).
I found no over-aggressiveness. As I said its all relative, but a good mix of technique and talent is always a goal. The reason pixelartists will talk about this more than the casual viewer is because we understand it best than most and want to be impressed. Every PJ member KNOWS they are super talented and the best there ever was...or should. What makes us admire each other with this in mind is execution. Therefore I just had to comment, even with your request not to discuss it...
Thanks for comment. I was just frustrated the moment I posted it since I got already 3 complaints about the amount of colors. "True pixelart has only X amount of colors, you should keep it in mind." and such comments. I try to keep the amount of them in mind and don't overuse them but to me it's like someone only thinks about how the work was made but they don't care what the result is. But I'm sorry for overaggressive text on first pixel I posted -___-''
"I personally really dislike limited amounts of colors and don't give a damn how many different colors a picture contains so please don't point it out."
It's a good thing you are not a rocket scientist or that would read: I personally really dislike limited amounts of thrusters and engines and don't give a damn how hot the cabin gets, so please don't point it out.
Result, kids think you're cool, Astronauts won't respect and come near your rockets...it's all relative.
*fyi, I personally added your pixelart to the gallery and do welcome you too PJ. My point was that artistic freedom is good and all but technique is just as valuable. Agree or not color conservation is where the true creativity is in pixelart.
