Set of animated icons for menu of disk magazine for ZX Spectrum. I made this set about in January of 2006, and it wasn't used by tech reasons.

Each icon has 16 frames. Limitations of ZX Spectrum graphic: 256x192, 1-bit graphic, each 8x8 block can use two colors (ink, paper) from fixed palette of 15 colors - 8 base colors and their bright versions (black is always black, and both colors in block has same bright).

Brilliant. I love sys looks like "Norton Commander" for DOS.

These are some really fun icons...some aren't as readable as they could be...but regardless I'm really likeing these

I specially dig how well you turned these concepts into truly readable icons. WILD lloks as the most well achieved one(despite soft and mail wich are pretty cliché).
