Oh, it's not that I want you to change the style itself. I'm more comfortable with a realistic approach, so edits are easier for me to do that way. However, I do draw heavily stylized people every now and then, and I find that exaggerating features also makes mistakes more apparent. I feel that they look more natural - exaggerated or not - when the proportions and anatomy are what I consciously, or subconsciously, expect to see in another human.

In any case, I'm glad I could help. Drawing your own hands is great practice. Since it's a reference you always have with you, taking advantage of it is not a bad idea.

Arachne - Thanks for the visual edit, I appreciate the reference. I do like the altered hair, but dont like tha anatomically correct faces, they look like old ladies, and lost their warcraft lineage in styleing.  I wanted them to be much more cartoony and exaggerated.  Love the hand edit as well (never been good at hands)

It's a nice start, but I noticed it has some of the same flaws as your last elf piece. Their facial proportions seem off, and the way you've shaded the hair makes it seem flat with too extensive use of highlights. Focus less on the individial pieces of hair, but more on the shape of the whole. The same goes for their bodies, and there are no shadows cast on the green-haired elf. Cast shadows make it easier to tell where things are in relation to each other and thus add depth, so don't be afraid to hide things in shadow.

I think the White-haired elf would look better if you gave her a bigger chin and a longer nose. The ears are too close to the face and the earlobe should line up with the nostril. The eyes also need to be placed further back.

Green-haired elf's hand furthest away from us looks awkward. I couldn't hold my hand like that when I tried, so I'd suggest a more natural grip. The wrist is too thick, and the shading on the arm closest to us is inconsistent with the rest. She has some of the same problems with the face as the other elf, and it looks like her head is too big, so I'd also shrink that down. I also think her eyebrow should be lowered and her forehead more straight like the other elf.

This edit should sum up what I've mentioned, and even if you don't want to change this piece now, I hope you'll find it helpful for future pieces. Also, see if you can find some of Andrew Loomis's books online. I think that would help you a great deal, especially when constructing heads.
