Way to many colors here like everyone else has said. You should try to make some of the other pieces to this game as well.

In my color pat i use arround 10 colors...but when i change them to index color, the photoshop stated that there are 39 colors...@_@. Maybe some colors overlay one another...

the wall pieces look odd because they are supposed to be at right-angles to the wall (like the ones on the floor stand upright).  your pieces are at "2D right angles" (drawn on a flat surface), whereas in iso, the illusion of a right angle is created by following the 2x1 pixel lines.  When you draw the wall pawns, try following the lines of the chessboard below them.

it's an imaginative idea so i really would urge you to polish this piece; it would look nice in the Joint

I wasn't have much time...but ya, I wana continue add the rest of the highlight and shadow...And I also wana to change my character into "chess-look" instead of using the default given...I would change if I got the time...THX for comment~=P

If that perspective aberration were on purpose, I would have said: "great idea". It's puzzling... Escher used a lot this type of "mistake" to make his point. I love the grays.
It looks kinda unfinished... the 2 pieces on the right wall have shadows (or are they reflections????) and the rest don't have any. I would love for the character to be more in the style of the room...

Excellent idea anyway

The pieces on the walls look very odd, not because of the fact that they are on the wall, but because they don't seem to be pointing away from the wall they are on. They seem to be pointing towards the wall next to them, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.
Also, where does the light come from? The shadows and light spots don't make much sense.
It's a great piece, the imaginative use of gray is visually stunning and big chess boards are just cool. Positioning chess pieces on the walls gives it an abstract feel.
