I've been havin' a pixel block, so I was just looking around my room for things to draw, and I saw my magical trevor plushie. So I drew it, scanned it, pixeled it. Nuff said.
He's sad because he hasn't had a gig in years.

Also, it's kinda a revisit of this.

Stayed up 'til 5 AM twice for this. Did you know they deliver the paper at 4 AM? About 3 hours for the character, then 5+ for the background. Yes, I hand dithered the background. No brushes, no copy + paste.

In other news, this is pixel number 150. Woo go me.

Magical Trevor is character created by Weebl(of weelbls-stuff.com). If you haven't seen the videos, go watch. NOW. Although he isn't my character, he is who I draw the most. I guess I've kinda adopted him as my own.

EDIT I added the background. I hope it sufficed. I deleted the first and resubmitted so people would re-rate it and re-look at it.

When I saw this, I immediately thought "Where's the cow??"
Of course, it makes just as much sense without it :D

Well done, I like it.

I think we all agree on this: Animate!

Ya, I get that a lot.

Yeah, I know the feeling. In addition to posting in the forums early in the process, I think it's also a good idea to start with something sketchy and gradually refine everything instead of finishing one part at a time. It should prevent you from becoming too attached to it until the end.

Wow, so much better since the first time I saw it.
*Two thumbs up!*

Thanks for the crits, Arachne.

I'm not changing it. Lol.

I know the lighting is a bit off, I created the character first, without even a plan for the background. But I do want all the empty space, it kinda makes him seem more alone. And if you dithered for 5 hours straight, you would know why I dont want to just cut it out lol.

Also, in the video, there aren't flowers. I know I could add  them ,but the whole reason I did this was I'm having trouble being creative, so i'm stickin to the video.

But thank you very much for the crits and edit, i'll keep these things in mind next time. And i'll prolly post in the forums too.

I think this has potential, but right now I think there's too much empty space. I think you could move Trevor up a bit and reduce the empty space without really losing anything, and maybe add some flowers or something to break up the monotony. Also, the shadow he casts doesn't match the direction of the light hitting him. A lot more of him should be in shadow. Maybe something more like this would work better?

Outlines of Trevor are to massive, but dithering style is brillant :)

I've no idea what a 'Magical Trevor' is, nor do I know what the heck he's doing in that enormous empty field, but I do like this piece, and I always enjoy your truly unique and definitive style.  Nice work.

Still nice :D
Maybe add some AA on the outlines?
