and by draw he means index paint? I used to think these were cool but when I looked at them in photoshop I'm starting to disbelieve them.

What are you talking about? No matter how bad are the techniques, the whole image looking is what matters. If there is pillow shading, he or she managed to make it look good. Besides the alias in some lines its very cool. PS: U rox 4tochkin!

it's not bad a piece at all, but I find it technically inferior: it's muddy (colors run together), the most part of it is pillow-shaded and you have some banding issues going on here (even in the sig/tag-piece).  however, although the composition is pretty simple and thus a bit boring, the outgoing image, still, possess some cool charming power.

Whoaaa....

I really like the way you tackle the surrounding background area's of you pieces. The reflection in the puddles, the misty mountains and the clouds are well thought out. One little nic-pic is that the cracks on the ground doesn't have the same sharp/emboss look as it looks a little smooth to me.

I too really like this picture without any AA:))

Great work as usual. Though as usual, I think there are slight inconsistencies in perspective (mostly disturbing for me is the meeting of the skids and the ground). The background looks beautiful as mentioned before. I don't miss AA, somehow the roughness gives it a nice retro-game feel; though I'd redo that awful banded back of the helicopter.

Would be nice to see more work from you, nut just bimonthly.

Awesome work, how many colours.  I do suggest that you should probably AA te jaggies of the propellers and the helicopter's legs.

the blades could really use some AA - the highlighting makes them stand out nicely but it also draws the eye to these jagged edges.  other than that, fantastic work

I really like your stuff except for the lack of aa.  That kinda ruins it for me, seeing all those jaggedys all over the place...

While I think this image would rock with some AA ... I don't know, I really like how it looks without the AA.  I'm torn!

Either way, this is fan-freakin'-tastic!  Love the lighting and the "tone" of the shadows.
