New to Pixel Joint but I've been doing pixel art for quite some time. Several years actually... Azure Solaris will be my introductory piece here. I've worked on this off and on for a couple months and finally finished it back in the summer of 2007. This is the original piece and it's done only in mspaint. It took me awhile to mathematically and visually find the right blend of colors so I could properly capture the aurora or flame aspect.

Hello Icleus. I awaited your response to my questioning of the piece. I've heard nothing as of yet, so unfortunately, I'm going to have to send this piece back for revision, on suspicious reasons of it being non-pa. It's beatiful, yes;but pixel art: meh, I'm straddling the line with it right now. So many random pixels, and very little control, keep screaming "index job." Just know that we don't mean to deter you from submitting more art here, just to place wips and whatnot to prove the doubters with highly detailed pieces like this, else great pieces like this will be sent back. We can be strict sometimes, but we mostly try to be fair.
That's awesome, but that the sort of piece I don't see nothing interesting in doing it in Pixel Art especially... Honestly, it looks like you made it with photoshop effects and brushes and then you reduced colors to 28. Anyways this is really amazing, you spent as much time in it as I don't believe it.
