Looks great as usual, superb colors, fine motion and such, but... why do it had to be so symmetric? I had to stop the animation to see the frames are not mirrored.

Hehe, awesome. One thing that bugs me is the speed of the animation. Doesn't seem to me like something blew up. And one small thing that would spiffy it up ( to me) is if that the two halfs seperated and went in different directions to sort of complete the spiral. About halfway through the animation it looks like it was going to do this, but it doesn't...

Hehe, I saw the colours of the preview and thought "Squirrelsquid"   Looks beautiful! (which seems a strange thing to say about an explosion, but it does)

As you said it's very hipnotic. Definitely a very artistic explosion. It's very soft and fluffy yet with a sense of weight. Lovely! :)
