If it's the transparency issue (as yoursavior mentioned) that explains it ... but they eyes look weird to me! I like the over-all style.

She looks kind of like Captain Syrup. :P Also, I think you messed up with your transparency, because there's some pixels from the background on her mouth, eyes, left arm, and her shirt.
