It looks like pieces of the girl on the left are unfinished (mostly the arms and the right leg). I happen to like the palette a lot, and all of the characters look interesting.

Ah yes,i should have looked closer.But still my point stands,he didnt use much in the way of dithering,theres a lot of clean lines and such.Actualy im not sure if know what im talking about,so i think i'l just shut up:/.

Woah!Impressive,i'v noticed that you didnt use any dithering(not that i can see anway),which is quite insperational,as im not too fond of dithering myself,and it shows what can be done without it.

from first day when I watch that work I think for the ears of the creature ... upper is with sharp end, but lover ear have round form with light part /raised in left part of the ear/ which for my vision isn't correctly ... just want to say, but this isn't important ...

Absolutely love this piece.

The composition is the only thing that bothers me a little. Maybe it's the huge background at the top that offsets things a bit too much.

People were pointing out the girl's legs but i think they are just fine. It really brings out the thought that she's a little bit anxious and ready to charm her way out of a fight when the big monster wakes up after being poked too much :)

I saw this on DA, and was like "WTF i never saw dis on PJ, it so awesome!?!!!11"

Man, if you made a story book full of these awesome pixel art pieces, I'd buy it.

Something I really like about a lot of your work is that you manage to tell a story with the images, and it reminds me of those old drawings I'd see in my books when I was a little kid. :) Your characters in your work always have some trace of thier personality in it, and I see that skill as something that's a lot more impressive than your awesome pixeling skills.

Anyhow, I'm not finding a lot of flaws here, but I'd say from a design stand point, it makes sense to add some hair to the inside of his ears, since the rest of his body is so hairy.

I bet the monster is angry on who was poking him while he's asleep and one eye opened and after it saw the too it began chasing them causing the two to lose their hometown and became warrior and white mage to get revenge against said monster.

:D other than the girls crazy legs and the distractingly simple bg, this is amazing.

I love the concept and how colorful the palette is while still limited, but the composition is awkward with the main focus being empty sky. If you make that part darker than the rest instead of brighter, it would make the creature and the kids more visible.

Gotta love kid's lack of common sense!  Were I to see this thing laying on the ground I'd avoid it like the plague!

I like how the colors of the background blend well with the creature's colors.  Suggests that the creature would cammoflage well when roaming the forest.

There are some rough pixels, but since you referenced them in your description I'll leave 'em alone!

Good stuff.

This is really quite nice and would make an excellent picture for a children's book.

Followed by his apprehensive, but equally curious, sister, Betsy; Billy cautiously approached the slumbering beast. The overwhelming stench let him know that he was close enough, and Billy crouched into an efficient poking position. With his trusty poking stick in hand, Billy went for the gold!

*poke poke*

Success! Upon discerning that it was indeed real, rough and scaly- Billy turned back to Betsy.

"I think our work here is done." he proudly proclaimed.

And with that the two began their long journey back home.

The silhouette of the palm tree that is above and between the two kids looks inorganic. The leaves are all straight-forwardly angled and the two on the right form this straight vertical line together. I believe that could use some work.

I also feel that there's something slightly off with the perspective, depth, and shaping of the eye and mouth of the creature.

Very detailed. I like the contrast of innocent versus gruesome, without the need for tits and ass. I think the palette is fine, just some things seem a bit rushed in certain places(the girl's right leg(our left), and the wip-ish trees in the background). Far better than I could ever pull off, though, I will say that. Wonderful job. I predict this one to get about 65 fav's....*throws $50 at local booker*

What to say ... as always nice, but that idea with children is very fun ... now when creature is with open eyes don't know what will happen with children hehehe

I like how you show with 4-5 colours in back plan and with 4-5 in front plan the deep of the greens in all your works :)

my favourite parts are eyes of the girl and pose of the boy with his clothes.
