I'm a begginer at pixel art. I was drawn into it because i, as many, have dreams of being able to make my own pixel graphics for my platform games instead of either using not my work or using other art style than pixel art. This is my first try at making sprites for a platform game, the name of that character is Ketil (an original character by Erix3423), in the third sprite from the ready pose he throws his coat in the air. I tried a retro style (because all of us game programmers believe it or not, love these graphics) and tried to keep the colors less than 32 and kept a black lineart on it to give it that retro feeling from the first SNES games. I know i'm very green in this, so i hope i can get some crits on this piece as well as some advice

it's interesting ... but the eye(s) are a little weird looking! Kind of hard to tell where/what they are.
