Yet another pixel art incarnation of a famous musician.
This time it's legendary Django Reinhardt - famous gypsy jazz player. And this time it's animated! Hope you like it!

EDIT: More contrast and modified left hand.

Thanks! I've tried to make those fingers to look like his injured hand, but it was pretty hard to make with such limited space. I'll try to do something with this area but I don't think I'll be able to make more proper representation.
But I guess you're right that there's something wrong with it - one of my friends asked me about the left hand beacause to him it looked like a thumb placed on a wrong side of the palm - but he didn't know that Django had an injured hand.

BTW if you're interested not only in listening to Django but also playing some gypsy guitar - there is a great book with almost every song composed by Django with tabs and notations of melodies and also backing chords (guitar boxes), info about songs and tons of great pictures and drawings. It's called Ultimate Django's Book

nice, the only qualm I have with this is that Mr Reinhardt  had to reinvent his guitar playing because of the injury to his fingers in a fire.  This left (I believe) his ring and pinky finger on his left hand permenantly curled toward his palm. In you pic its hard to tell whats going on with his ring finger.  It could be that you are representing it properly, or not.  If you wish, play with a few pixels on the left ring and see if you can't make it a little more telling.  otherwise, nice idea for a piece.
