Hey Pixelarg. The leaves are actually quite simple to do. First i roughly placed where the highlight, midtone and shadow areas of the tree would go, then starting with the darkest tones (from the area), i'd draw in leaf shapes '()', adding highlights if needed. It's quite fun because you just go with the flow, and shapes and forms begin to appear, and you can work on them or disregard them as you wish.I put up a WIP animation that might be interesting.
