really couldnt think of a good bg so i just put in some stalagmites/stalactites the reason the canvas is so rectangular is because its meant to be a forum signature, and yea the text is the light source, and i was just messin around with the text, supposed to look like fire, oh well.

Prince of Darness is a really fitting name since I had to increase the amount of light on the screen to see it well. I don't know what color of forums you are using it but for a light background like PJ's it's way too dark :S You could expand the stalagmites and stalactites to left and make them brighter if the font is the lightsource. But as much as I was able to see it, it looks good :)
