cassiechihuahua -yeah, it was a celebrity outfit. Its not all that original though, when you think of it. Just a plain white dress, a belt and a lace pink bra. The heels and hair were not part of the original look though
Hey SHANN0N, i linked to the exact base in your description, as i find it's quite hard to find the exact base on these kind of sites, please be more specific next time! Also very good work.
I'm not a fan of the heavy AA, either, but I have to say it's a huge step up from the base. I really like the hair and the colors you've used on her dress, but I think the sides could be darkened a bit to make it seem more cylindrical and less flat. The face also looks flat at the moment. You have highlights on the sides and barely anything in the middle. I think the bridge of the nose, bottom of the forehead and upper lip and chin need stronger highlights to show that they protrude further out than the cheeks. Her eye also looks misplaced, and it gives her a bit of a dazed expression. I'd move it up a bit and to the left. The right side of her face seems a bit stretched out. The left side is more straight, so the other side should be curved to match. I also think there needs to be a bit more space between the nose and the lips. Maybe this edit will explain it better. I hope it's helpful.
Very much liking this. Could have more shoulder definition on the arm of her right as it looks like it just blends straight from the breast. I like the Beyonce vibe she's got :))
I'm really enjoying the hair in this, and the clothing folds are lovely. I think what needs to be critiqued has already been critiqued previously, so good job.
BlazeAce- I know theres a lot of AA- I have the need/love to make everything really smooth looking^^ On my moniter I actually dont notice any of the shading as standing out too much, so maybe it's just that your moniter shows things with more contrast..lol no matter how I do it it the colors/contrast will probably look slightly different on everyone's moniter so thats not really something I can fix, haha. Thanks for letting me know though
zi-double- I assume that when you're talking about just the contrast of the skin shades, and not the contrast of the skin compared to anything else, considering the dress is almost white and her skin is dark...If that is in fact what you meant, then I disagree that there should be more contrast- if there was anymore it wouldn't look like skin anymore- or she'd be really oily looking, haha. I see what you mean about the right arm- I wasnt sure what to do about it, since the lineart looked a tiny bit odd... originally I thought about making her hand on her hip but eventually decided I was too lazy to do that so just shaded it. I may do something about it later though.
There's a lot of AA there. It's almost too much for my taste. It's really smooth pretty much everywhere but what bothers me is the clearly visible white dithering in the dress. It's so smooth everywhere that it's kind of crack in the style.
