First time i've done a monkey sprite, and any kind of Fur texture. Think i've done an alright job :D Says i used 89 colours, not 100% sure though, i only thought i used 40 max.

Okay I don't really care for color amounts normally but this is an exception :D It's nice looking monkey and all but that much colors in such a small piece... That requires certain skills really. Use fewer colors on at least the next one please.

I know, i just wanted to try more colours, and i don't actually think i used 89 colours.

Something like this should take no more than 8 colors.
