It looks good as a piece of pixel art but it's not actually scary. For you death may be what you fear but that piece doesn't bring the feeling of even slightest fear the the watcher (at least not to me). Looks more cool which almost makes you want to meet the death. But as a pixel art I like it, especially the scythe.
