Dodging what? If I want guidance I would have posted something up in the forum. Look I'm just trying new things, whether their "broken" or not "I" see an improvement. I don't think it is a step forward but I honestly don't believe its a step back either. I'll fix the "broken" bits and delete this awful peice then repost it when it is finished. You're right about everything though, it does need work.

If we knew why you made the decisions you have - such as getting rid of the structure in the hips, for example - we could HELP you direct your skills so that the changes would be improvements.  Rather what I see is a destructive tendency (renaming yourself and taking down all of your pieces) coupled with heading in a poor direction (making changes that undo the achievements of the previous work - NEW mistakes that didn't plague you BEFORE).

You're dodging the question this whole time, and it's a very simple one.  There's no need to play the straw-men game with "improve" vs "fix" etc., just answer the question or say nothing :).

Regarding you're improvement remark; were did I say I made significant improvements, I fixed it enough to were I'm "OK" with it to post it here, well maybe I should'nt have. Anyway I'll fix my mistakes as I improve, so I'll delete this and repost when it is up to standards. OK?

right, i understand why you wont remake a piece, but taking it down (along with your other work) seems odd.  not really my place, just confusing.

changing a piece makes perfect sense, but this is twelve steps in the wrong direction in terms of most things, formal and otherwise, which is why i'm interested in the reasons for what you're calling improvements.

I agree the original does look better.

Reason being; I didn't like it, so I made some changes.I'll probably even mess with it again just to get the pose right.. Trial & error, I suppose.

Color choice; I like dark colours (don't ask), and anatomy, while it may be flawed I'm proud I made it this far.

is there a particular reason for getting rid of all the old pieces?

in this case, i think the original is actually superior in terms of coloration, anatomy, poise, and character.  I would be curious to see the progress that turned that into this.
