YES. I love Watchmen! And your pixel is great. Though it wouldn't hurt to hit it up with a bit of AA here and there, and to fix up lots of the jaggedy lines. Black lines is often a faux pas, and we could do without 'em here I think.
0_o That's your first pixel? Wow! I'd say keep working on this piece, and update it with a few of those pointers Lollige hooked you up with there. Also, could go with fewer colors, too. Too many shades, like on his hat, makes it look too soft, and takes away from that pixelly, crisp-look.
I saw a program on that series of comic books... I'll need to find a few and get reading ;) Anyway it looks good, though you could have used less colours...
