thats not en excuse. imo. you still have a week to improve the quality bedfore the voting, and a whole life to improve it futher.

I know it's crappy but you've gotta start somewhere. Also the only real reason I entered it to the competition was because that other guy stole my picture and made an even crappier version.

This looks pretty ****** I'm  not going to lie.

First off, you've AA'd every ****** pixel.
Highly unneeded.

The bowl and the fish are AA'd to ****, but for some reason the remote, and the fish food are not?

I really think you should rethink your AA, clearly you don't quite get it. :/

I adressed some of the issues, but it still looks like rat crap. I don't know what I was thinking when I made that background.

Good job. I think you made a good decision in making the whale smaller. There are some problems, however:

*You probably should make the bowl curvier, right now it's a bit angular.
*The dithering in the bg is completely unneccecary, if you are going to use a 50% dither on the whole background, you may as well use a single colour.
*The bowl is flat and I don't really get the impression that it really has water in it.
*You haven't AA'd the lines inside the bowl, but you've AA'd the outer lines.
*That remote has far too many buttons =/

You still have time to fix these.
